Stainless Steel 316 Needle Valves are made up of 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, and 2–3% molybdenum, which gives them excellent resistance to corrosion and pitting, particularly in chloride-rich environments. This material boasts a tensile strength of about 515 MPa, a yield strength of around 205 MPa, and impressive elongation (~40%), making it perfect for mechanical durability. SS 316 also excels in creep resistance, stress-to-rupture, and tensile strength at high temperatures, along with outstanding weldability and machinability.
